Rosenthal Falda, Sea Salt

The designer snow-white Falda porcelain vase is 10 cm tall and suitable both for modern and traditional interiors. A porcelain 10 cm tall vase the colour of sea salt. Silky matte, fully coloured porcelain clay, smooth to the touch. A miniature version of the original created for Rosenthal in 2014 by the young designer and now a star of the German design scene Sebastian Herkner who used it as a vehicle for an interesting idea—combining a traditional bulbous vase with a pleated collar that hugs any bouquet you place in it.

The vase is a particularly nice placement for 10 to 40 mixed or single-species GIYOU flowers or for combinations of GIYOU with dried flowers. It’s also suitable for gradual collecting. You can use it without a filler (see the image of lavender), pour beads or pebbles on the bottom, or with a piece of floral foam to give the flowers an elevated position (see the image of mixed meadow flowers). Lavender, anywhere from 10 to 30 pieces, looks especially well in it. The vase isn’t suitable for small single-species flowers (violets, daisies, etc.).
