Products

Where does design and production of flowers take place?

Design and production as well comes form the Czech Republic. The design and all models are an exclusive work of GIYOU.  

What is the size and weight of the flowers?

The approximate height of flowers (silver and golden) is from 9 to 16 cm. The height of each flower (in cm) is given for each product in the SILVER FLOWERS or GOLDEN FLOWERS section. The weight for each type of silver flower is different and you can find it in the overview here. The weight of gold flowers (585/1000) is specified for each gold product in the GOLDEN FLOWERS or GOLDEN BOUQUETS section and also in the overview here. The flowers of a wedding bouquets have a longer stem than individual flowers (approximately 16,5 cm) to better hold in the hand. 

Are all products listed on the website available?

All products listed on www.giyou.cz are available, unless explicitly stated otherwise. If you would like to order a substantial amount of a specific product, contact us at info@giyou.cz. Valuable goods (products valued in excess of 400,000 CZK/15.000 EUR (VAT included) can be only handed over in person or a different method of sale and hand-over of such products can be agreed. Time delivery time of larger amount of gold flowers and gold bouquets is usually 2 weeks from the ordering (we need additional time for the final treatment and preparation of gold products). And golden flowers with a fineness of 750/1000 (18K) or 999/1000 (24K) must be made for you and will be delivered usually 2-3 weeks from ordering.

Will you also deliver more valuable products to me?

More valuable goods (products worth more than 400,000 CZK/15,000 EUR (including VAT)) can be collected in person or another location or delivery method can be arranged, which we will be happy to take care of. If you order such more valuable products, we will contact you and arrange deliery to you.

How fine is the silver and gold?

Sterling silver of 925/1000 fineness, 585/1000 (14K), 750/1000 gold (18K) or 999/1000 (24K) gold.

Are the flowers hallmarked?

All flowers bear the manufacturer’s hallmark and hallmark of fineness according to the Assay Act of the Czech Republic. The flowers can also be hallmarked with CCM, if required or a foreign purchaser would wish the CCM hallmark. The CCM hallmark is a designation according to The Convention on the Control and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals (Vienna, 1972). More information about hallmarks - here.

The hallmark control system is mandatory in the Czech Republic. Weight exceptions are for gold up to 0.5g, silver 3g (for CCM there are no weight exceptions). The hallmarks of the Czech Republic are recognized in the EU practically in all European countries

Do you make limited editions?

Certain flowers are made in unlimited amounts while others are strictly limited in terms of the amount produced. Information on limited production is provided with each product in the SILVER FLOWERS or GOLDEN FLOWERS section. The first type of flower of limited edition will be made probably in 2024.

Are greeting cards included with the flowers?

You will receive an certificate and greeting card with each flower or bouquet.

How are the flowers packaged?

Individual flowers and all bouquets are packaged in gift boxes. 

What do I do if I want to order a substantial amount of flowers?

If you would like to purchase more than 100 silver flowers or more than 20 golden flowers, please contact our customer service by calling +420-775-555-531 or sending an email to info@giyou.cz.

Prices

Are the prices on the website final?

Yes, all prices of the products listed on the www.giyou.cz are final and include VAT. However, we are not responsible for customs duties, import taxes and similar fees payable by buyers. A brief overview of these fees for selected destinations can be found here.

Do you have summary of weights and prices for all flowers?

Weights and prices for silver flowers (925/1000) you can find also here. Weights and prices for gold flowers (585/1000) you can find also here. If you are intersted in flowers from gold of 750/1000 or 999/1000 fineness, we will provide you all weights and prices on request.

Bouquets

How do I buy silver bouquets?

You can choose from the bouquet menu (see the SILVER BOUQUETS section) or from section ROYAL FLOWERS. We offer different types of bouquets, divided by theme or type. Or you can create your own silver bouquet from the species and number of flowers you desire.

How do I buy golden bouquets?

You can choose from the bouquet menu (see the GOLDEN BOUQUETS section) or from section ROYAL FLOWERS. We offer different types of bouquets. Or you can create your own golden bouquet from the species and number of flowers you desire.

You can purchase bouquets made from yellow, white or pink gold of 585/1000 fineness (or on request from yellow gold of 750/1000 or 999/1000 fineness). Golden bouquets from 750/1000 or 999/1000 fineness are usually delivered within 2-3 weeks of ordering.

Can I order my own bouquet?

Yes, you can create and order your own silver or gold bouquet from individual flowers of your choice. 

Do you bind the bouquets?

You can order your silver bouquet bound or unbound. We bind flowers from 10 to 50 flowers. Both versions have their benefits. Unbound bouquets look well and can be placed in a vase, for example, or arranged in any way you like. When bound, on the other hand, the flowers stick better together. It is a matter of preference. Please inform us whether you want your bouquet bound or not in the order’s notes section. If you do not include this information we assume you are ordering your bouquet unbound. We do not bind usually golden flowers.

Bouquets are carefully bound using floristry supplies (fine wire, foam rubber, and florist tape). Naturally, the binding can be loosened at any time and the bouquet used unbound. Wedding bouquets are always sold bound (see the wedding bouquets section below). Binding flowers into bouquets does not (technically) create a special product (a bouquet), the product is still individual flowers (in a given amount and loosely tied into a bouquet).

Wedding bouquets

What kind of a wedding bouquet can I order?

Wedding bouquets are always arranged in consultation with the customer. Please, contact our customer department by calling +420-775-555-531 or sending an email to info@giyou.cz. Order confirmations, sent by our information system, merely confirm that the product in question was reserved. If you order a wedding bouquet, a consultation is necessary to create a specific bouquet according to your wishes. Wedding bouquets are bespoke products.

You can choose a specific type of wedding bouquet from the menu (see the WEDDING BOUQUETS section). Or you can order your own wedding bouquet with a different type and number of flowers completely according to your wishes. The price of the wedding bouquet includes accompanying dried and fresh flowers and bouquet tying.

Bespoke products

How do I order bespoke products?

Please, describe your vision to us in detail as soon as possible so that we can make your bespoke flower or bouquet. We will get back to you within two weeks with a draft agreement, estimate, and production time. Our designers can create a unique flower/bouquet or similar products just for you. How long does it take to make a bespoke product?

We will give you an estimation within two weeks of receiving your detailed information on the requested product.

Can I order a bespoke product as a business gift?

We adjust products sold in our business gift range. We offer a limited edition of specially made business gifts. Learn more about business gifts in the CORPORATE GIFTS section.

Can I change a placed order?

Are there any order thresholds?

Products of value in excess of 400,000 CZK/15.000 EUR (VAT included) can be received only in your presence. Other delivery methods can be agreed for sale and delivery of such goods. Order confirmations in excess of 400,000 CZK/15.000 EUR (VAT included) sent by the information system merely confirm that the product in question was reserved. 

Gifts

Will my flowers be packaged?

Yes, all flowers and bouquets will be placed in a gift box. 

Do I get a gift card with my flowers?

With each flower or bouquet, we include an certificate and a gift card you can fill in or sign. If you would like us to fill in the gift card, instruct us to do so in the order form’s notes section (provide information on the text, the recipient’s name, etc.).

Does the gifted order include an invoice?

No. The customer who placed the order will receive the invoice by email.

Delivery methods

What are the shipping options?

Information on methods of shipping in Czech Republic adn other countries are listed on www.giyou.cz in the SHIPPING METHODS section on www.giyou.cz.

Where do you ship to?

Goods purchased on the website can be shipped to locations in Czech Republic, most countries in Europe and other countries. You will find the list of delivery countries in the SHIPPING METHODS section. The list of delivery countries can change. In case of requested delivery outside the list od delivery countries, please contact customer support by calling +420-775-555-531 or sending an email to info@giyou.cz to determine if shipping to your destination is possible. Any delivery address not included in our list of delivery countries will be rejected and the processing of your order will not be completed.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

No. The customer who placed the order will receive the invoice by email. Please see SHIPPING METHODS section.

Do you deliver to P.O. boxes?
It is not possible to deliver parcels to a P.O. box. All goods are delivered to their recipients in person and cannot be left in a mail box.
I’m on a business trip. Can you deliver the parcel to my hotel?
Yes, we can deliver ordered goods to your hotel. Please, include the hotel’s name and address, as well as the time of your stay, in the order form’s notes section.

Returnes  and exchanges

How do I return a product I purchased on your website?

If you wish to return goods purchased on www.giyou.cz, you can do so on  www.giyou.cz  at any time but within 30 days at the latest. For the procedure of returning purchased goods please see the RETURNS AND EXCHANGES section.

Are there any special rules for returning or exchanging a product?
Yes. It is not possible to return wedding bouquets and flowers made or customised at your request and other bespoke products (article 9 of our terms and conditions). You also cannot return goods purchased in your physical presence, outside the online store www.giyou.cz. This does not affect your right to make a complaint regarding defective goods.
When will I be refunded?

We do our best to refund customers as soon as possible. You should receive your purchase amount within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

Can I make a complaint about the goods and request them to be repaired or changed?

Yes. If the goods are defective and under warranty (24), you can primarily request them to be repaired or exchanged, or withdraw from the contract. Diplomat service

Do you provide a special service to diplomats?

You can receive personal assistance with purchases by calling +420-775-555-531 or sending an email to info@giyou.cz. Goods of your choice will be quickly delivered to any location in Czech Republic.

Who is this service for?
The service can be used by anyone who bears a diplomatic or service passport and is a foreign mission member.
What are the terms of VAT-free shopping?

We do our best to refund customers as soon as possible. You should receive your purchase amount within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.If you are interested in VAT-free shopping, you need to present a VAT exemption certificate, filled in and stamped by the relevant office and body of your host country. The reverse must contain the number of your order and the VAT-free price, or the order’s itemisation. The certificate cannot be older than 7 days. You also need to have a diplomatic/service passport. You only need to send us a copy of your diplomatic passport once; we will save it with your registration form. Once you contact us we will provide you with an order placement manual, as well as the required documents.

Tax free shopping

Is tax free shopping available?

YIf you are a tourist with a permanent residence in a non-EU Member State, you are entitled to receive a refund on the value added tax you paid for goods bought in and exported from the EU. When exporting goods from the European Union you are entitled to receive a VAT refund, as early as at the airport or for example at any Global Blue office; you do not need to go back to the seller.

What is the VAT amount to be refunded?
The service can be used by anyone who bears a diplomatic or service passport and is a foreign mission member. The standard VAT we will charge with GIYOU products is 21%. 
What are the terms of tax free shopping?

The terms are subject to change as per legal and tax regulations. Current conditions will be provided to you by customer service by calling +420-775-555-531 or sending an email to info@giyou.cz.

Warranty terms

What are the warranty conditions?

We provides a complete statutory warranty against any production and material defects of genuine GIYOU products purchased in the company’s own shops or online stores. You can read the warranty terms in our general terms and conditions (article 12), available on www.giyou.cz at any time.

The warranty covers defects not caused by an accident or wrong use, regular wear and tear, modifications, attempted repairs, negligence, or failure to comply with our  special instructions regarding product maintenance. The warranty service is provided free of charge.

The warranty period is 24 (twenty-four) months of the receipt of goods.

Keep your invoice or receipt as a proof of purchase. If you decide to make a warranty claim regarding any online purchase, you must provide us the invoice or delivery note.

We reserve the right to, at our discretion, at any time make any changes or amendments to the warranty terms, to be effective in the future. Warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
