Unlike golden products of less fine (14K or 18K) gold which boast a relatively wide range of colours, pure (24K) gold has a uniform, striking yellow-orange appearance which immediately sets it apart from less pure gold.

24 karat gold doesn’t contain any alloy metals; it’s gold of the highest fineness. 24K gold is rarely used in regular jewellery-making because of its softness.
